- DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to purchase 250 ribbons and medals for sustained service, ribbons/medals for auxiliary Letter of Commendation, 1002 ribbons for VE/MDV Program, 500 Pin coxswain small/large, 500 ribbons/medal member service 5 years, 500 ribbons/medals special training, 1000 medal for operations service award, 750 medal for recruiting service performance awards 500 ribbons/medals for public education service, 2000 Pin: bronze star 3/16?, 2000 pin silver ?0? 3/16?, 1500 pin silver ?0? ?? and 200 Pin aviation wings small/large, 250 pin air crew wings large. To be shipped to USCG Headquarters, at 2100 2nd St., S.W., Washington, and DC 20593. Quotations must be received via FAX: (202) 267-4727, ATTN: Mrs. Freeman By March 28, 2002. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein, and the attachment documents carefully. This acquisition is on an Small Business Set Aside basis: NAICS: 31499 SIZE: 500. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses are incorporated: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Aug00), 52.212-4(Aug00), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug00). Offerors can retrieve these clauses on the INTERNET at www.arnet.gov. Questions about this requirement must be in writing and submitted by fax or e-mail. Offerors must submit an original and two copies of the proposal to Mrs. Freeman, USCG Headquarters Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St., and S.W. WASHINGTON, DC 20593.
