Description
U.S Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG), has a requirement for the services of a Behavioral Scientist Specialist in the area of Conflict Resolution. The contractor shall provide consultation support to CIRG's Behavioral Analysis Unit and Crisis Negotiation Unit in assessing victimology and subjects of violent crime investigations. The Behavioral Scientist Specialist must have a Doctorate of Philosophy (PH.D.) Degree or Medical Degree in the fields of Sociology, Psychiatry, Psychology or Criminal Justice. A curriculum vitae/resume reflecting extensive academic and professional achievements, professional associations, and consultancies, which reflect experience with conflict resolution issues will be required. The Contractor must be capable of obtaining an FBI clearance at the "SECRET" level. Must be able to travel primarily CONUS; However, there may be occasional travel outside CONUS. The FBI anticipates awarding a labor hour contract with a fixed hourly rate. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NADIS) is 541611. The period of performance shall be a base year and two (2) one-year options. Proposals shall be due thirty days after the release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation. Telephone requests will not be honored.
