Description

The Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), located in Butner, North Carolina, is seeking sources for pumping and disposal of cooking grease. The contractor will be required to enter the secured confines of the FCC institutions and will therefore be required to be cleared by a National Crime Information Center (NCIC) check and other checks as deemed necessary. Tank locations and capacities are: Low Security Correctional Insitution (LSCI)-one 1500 gallon tank, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI)-one 1500 gallon tank, Federal Prison Camp (FPC)-one 1500 gallon tank and the Federal Medical Center (FMC)-one 2000 gallon tank. Pumping will be required approximately every six weeks. Contractor will be required to show proof of insurance and compliance with state and local environmental regulation governing the pumping, transporting and disposal of cooking grease in Granville and Durham counties of North Carolina. Duration of any resulting non-personal services contract will be one year starting on/about 1 Oct 2002 and ending 30 Sept 2003. Contract may contain up to four one year options.
