Description

The extent of this project requires interior and exterior painting of a +/- 40,000 square foot facility. This facility is comprised of two freestanding buildings joined by an overhead pedestrian bridge. Surfaces to be painted range from ground level to approximately 15 feet above the second floor roofline. The facility is a 24 hour/day US/Mexico Port of Entry located in Nogales, AZ. Estimated daily traffic includes 12,000 pedestrians and 6000 vehicles. Contractor will be required to co-ordinate work with Federal inspection agencies to minimize impact on traffic and operations. This project is located at the U.S. Port of Entry, Nogales, Arizona. Work to be performed includes prepping, patching, painting and finishing. When calling with questions or requests for solicitation packet be prepared to state name, address and solicitation number GS-09P-02-WQC-0012. All responsible sources may submit a written offer, which will be considered by General Service Administration FB-44, 300 W. Congress St., Rm. 2-J, Tucson, AZ 85701-1380. Receipt date for solicitation packet request shall be no later than 03/22/2002. REQUESTS MAY EITHER BE MADE BY FAX (520) 670-4752 OR IN WRITING to General Service Administration FB-44, 300 W. Congress St., Rm. 2-J, Tucson, AZ 85701-1380. Solicitation packages to be mailed 03/25/2002. A Pre-bid site visit is being held on 04/10/2002, 10:00 a.m. local time at the U.S. Port of Entry, Nogales, AZ.; Questions are to be received by 04/17/2002 and no later than 3:00 p.m. local time by mail or fax. Offers are to be received by 4/24/2002 and no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, at General Service Administration FB-44, 300 W. Congress St., Rm. 2-J, Tucson, AZ 85701-1380. The performance period shall be 60 days after Notice to Proceed. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-aside. Applicable NAICS code is 235210, Special Trade Contractor, Painting and Wall Covering Contractors. The estimated price range is between $25,000 to $100,00.
