Description: The contractor shall remove existing elevator and power control in its entirety and install new inverter controlled elevator system including hoistway doorframes and platform access portion for complete operation. The size, speed, capacity and other basic specifications of the new elevators shall match the existing. The equipment shall be the product of a manufacturer regularly engaged in manufacture or fabrication. The contractor shall perform field tests and adjustment upon completion of work.
