Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for security fencing to Medelco, 7800 S. Quincy Street, Willowbrook, IL 60527. This fence is for Ehrling Bergquist Hospital which has an open campus and is located off the base proper. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1. The OMEGA brand name fence met certain security, safety, and aesthetic characteristics suitable for a hospital campus that will satisfy the agency?s urgent requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations.
