Description

Classification Code: 70--General Purpose Information Technology Equipment. Defense Logistics Agency, Logistics Operations, Defense Reutilization & Marketing Service, (DRMS-POB), Federal Center Bldg., 74 N. Washington Avenue, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3092 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation notice and requires an expedient response. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Defense Reutilization & Marketing Service intends to enter into a firm-fixed price contract and this procurement will be set-aside for 100% Small/Very Small Businesses. This procurement will be awarded based upon low price and a determination of brand name or equivalent. The Government will award this RFQ resulting from this combined/synopsis solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this procurement will be most advantageous to the Government?s price. This procurement is set-asided with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 332992. This request is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) SP4410-02-Q-7009 for the purchase of (qty. 500) DLT Tape Type IV Media and (qty. 500) Barcode Labels (Vivid Colors) or equivalence to brand name or equal. When an offeror submit their bids, they must indicate if this item is listed on Federal Government Schedule, destination information (ex., f.o.b., origin, etc.), delivery timeframe, etc. Each contractor must submit information on their business size, Dun and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification and any other pertinent information about their company. All offerors must complete the fill-in information within our website at: http://www.drms.dla.mil/newproc/html/clauses.html. The following clauses will be included in the award: FAR 52.212-1 (Oct 2000), (b)(11), Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, language within this clause regarding submittal of the SF 1449 is not applicable to the request for Quotation. Commercial Items (Dec 2001); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Item (Dec 2001); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Dec 2001). The following clauses under 52.212-5 will apply: (b)(11, (12), (13), (14), (15), (16), (21), (24), (c) (1) and (2). The following clauses under DFAR apply: 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration and 252.225-7001, Buy American Act & Balance of Payments Program.
