THE CVL THAT IS BEING CREATED IS FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS ONLY. <P> CEC NUMBER IS THE SAME AS YOUR DUNS NUMBER. <P> PLEASE DO NOT CALL FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION, ALL THE INFORMATION THAT YOU NEED IS IN THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ATTACHED APPLICATION, SO PLEASE READ THESE DOCUMENTS PRIOR TO CONTACTING THIS OFFICE, IF YOU SHOULD HAVE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS PLEASE FAX YOUR REQUEST TO CLAIRE JONES AT (817) 222-5994. <P> TO OBTAIN THE REFERENCED APPLICATION FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS. GO TO: www.faa.gov, then click on Doing business with the FAA, the click on FAA contracting opportunities, the click on current announcement, select by region, then ASW and the application is listed under the announcement, click on it and follow the instructions. <P> NOTE: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT FOR A SPECIFIC PROJECT, THIS OFFICE IS JUST TRYING TO DEVELOP A POOL OF CONTRACTORS THAT WE CAN USE WHEN PROJECTS ARISE. <P> APPLICATION IS ATTACHED TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ON FAA's WEBSITE: WWW.FAA.GOV <P> We are only looking for contractor types that are 8(a) certified by SBA, we will also consider Joint Ventures that have SBA approval. The following go/no go factors should help you determine if your firm has the capability and experience to work on our larger construction projects. To be considered on our construction vendor list for these large projects, your company must meet the following ?go/no go? criteria. <P> 1. Experience in building Air Traffic Control Tower?s (ATCT's) or similar construction projects with an original contract award price of $2 million or more. Similar construction projects are: multi-story structural steel with pre-cast architectural panel and /or structural concrete cast in place with architectural panel buildings for multi story office buildings, schools, hospitals, high rise hotels and library construction as a general contractor. <P> 2. Your company must have completed projects valued $2 million or more within the time established by the contract. <P> 3. Your company must show that you have the capability of working with resident engineers and/or technical inspectors and contracting officers. <P> 4. Your company must have in house capability of scheduling a project of $2 million or more and demonstrate this capability. <P> 5. Of course you must be able to bond at these dollar levels. <P> 6. Your company must have proven past performance that clearly demonstrates that your company can meet the go/no go items listed above. <P> If you meet these criteria, then you need to complete all of sections part I and II on the attachment and return to the undersigned no later than April 5, 2002.
