- Description
- This is for a firm fixed-price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a 3-year ordering period for Normal Lock and Unlock Hydraulic Cylinder Assembly applicable to C-5 aircraft. Initial order for contract minimum of 24 each will be placed at time of contract award. Annual BEQ is three (3) each. Contract maximum quantity is 30 each. NSN 1650-00-098-4775UC, P/N: 1211104-3 or 4H90234-111A. DIM: 9.45 inches retracted x 2 inches diameter. MATL: Aluminum housing with steel internal components. FUNC: This cylinder locks and unlocks the Nose and Main Landing Gear Doors. DEL: 30 June 2003 for initial order. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 26 March 2002 with an approximate response date of 26 April 2002. Solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from www.FedBizOpps.gov website only. No telephone requests. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to ARKWIN INDUSTRIES INC. (CAGE 98391), Westbury, NY. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), "Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" applies. All responsible sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered. All potential sources should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposals or in the source selection process.
