- MDA112-02-T-0021, Janet Janes This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and therefore, a formal written document will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. The Television-Audio support Activity is tasked with the procurement of the following: Item 1) Sixteen (16) ea Notebook Computers, Sony p/n: PCGGR312S53K w/options as follows: model: ?VAIO GR300? w/1.2GHZ mobile Intel Pentium III Processor, 15-in SXGA+ LCD screen, 512MB RAM, 30GB hard drive, internal removable CD-RW/DVD combo drive, Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Operating System Software (p/n PCG-GR312S53K) & the following optional accessories: Network Port Replicator (p/n PCGA-{RGR1), additional lithium-ion battery (p/n PCGA-BP2E), & additional AC adapter (p/n PCGA-AC16V), and Item 2) eighteen (18) ea Dual In-Line Memory Module, Viking Components p/n: SNY3264M as follows: 256MB PC133; F/U/W Sony VAIO PCG-GR300, PCG-GR370, & PCG-GR390 series Laptop/Notebook Computers. (Note: the memory modules are not to be delivered installed in the Laptops) The equipment shall be delivered FOB destination to the American Forces Information Service (AFIS), Alexandria, Virginia, 22314 not later than 10 days after receipt of order. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Brand named items have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government?s minimum requirements but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. Proposals offering other than brand named items must submit complete technical data for evaluation. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 11 Mar 02, 1300 local time. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. Clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items, 52.233-4001, Agency Protests, and the following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.202-1, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33. DFARS 252.204-7004, 252.212-7001, and FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items also apply. The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
