- This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 01-04. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure 19 ea. Computer Notebook, Part Number: PCG-GR390K with the following options: 1.2ghz mobile Intel Pentium III processor, 15-in SXGA+ TFT screen, 256mb Sdram, 40GB hard drive, CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive, Microsoft Windows 2000 professional operating system and the following optional accessories per each notebook: Port Replicator (P/N PCGA-PRGR1), 2ea additional lithium-ion batteries (P/N PCGA-BP2E), USB Mouse (P/N PCGA-UMS1/A), and external USB floppy disk drive (P/N PCGA-UFD5). FOB destination to Ft. Meade MD 20755. Delivery schedule requested is within 60 days after receipt of order or sooner. Manufacturer is Sony Electronics. The Brand name and part numbers have been identified as meeting or exceeding the Government?s minimum requirements but are not established as standards upon which other offered brand named items will be evaluated. This is a being solicited under Full and Open competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors proposing to provide other than the requested item shall include specification data sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications stated above. All responses to this notice must make reference to quotation number MDA112-02-T-0020. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 334111, size standard 1000 employees. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. Verification of CCR registration must accompany your quote. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52-212-5 (Dev), Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, with the following sub-clauses: 52.222-21, 52-222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33; and DFARS 252.212-7001, with the following sub-clauses: 252.225-7001 and 252.225-7007. DFAR Clause 252.204-7004. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, also applies, with the Government?s evaluation criteria as follows: The evaluation criteria for this solicitation will consist of lowest price, technically acceptable items. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer.
