Description

NA Furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials and appliances necessary in connection with the Upgrade of the Detection and Control Systems for the Pre- Action Sprinkler System and the FM200 System located at Fort Drum, NY. This is only an upgrade, contractor(s) must be an authorized dealer or installer of the FM 200 Sprinkler System. PRINCIPAL FEATURES include but are not limited to: Remove all related low voltage wiring connected to existing Photoelectric and Ionization Smoke Detectors in the FM200 Sprinkler Systems and replace with manufactures recommended wiring. Vendor will repair any damaged walls created by the installation of th e new system. Contractor will remove existing Fike Panel and install Subpanel Micro 200 Control Panel to match existing FM200 Sprinkler System Controls. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000 and $100,000 and will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23531. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about 22 March 2002. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. The entire request for quote will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page. All sources wishing to quote are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the request for quotation. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the quote as non-respo nsive. The quotes must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic quotes will be accepted.
