Description: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) , Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services, Bismarck, North Dakota, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Environmental Planning Strategies Inc. for facilitating the development of an Environmental Impact Statement for Sunflower Protection in North Dakota and South Dakota for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Anticipated award date March 7, 2002.
