Description

Pre-Solicitation/Solicitation--IFB N68711-02-B-2118, Facilities Support Contract for Pumping of Various Tanks and Interceptors, at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA. The work includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment and supervision for collection, transport, and disposal of material and waste from various types of septic tanks and grease interceptors at various locations and incidental related work aboard the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. A Quality Control Program will be required as set forth in the Contract Specifications. NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. CCR Web sites: ccr.edi.disa.mil, or acq.osd.mil/ec; request form at 1-800-334-3414. Specifications & Drawings available on the Internet Site on or about 22 March 2002. Site Visit 10:00 AM, local time, 5 April 2002. Only one site visit will be offered. Bid Opening 2:00 PM, local time, 22 April 2002. Duration of contract 365 calendar days: however, four (4) one year options may be exercised at the discretion of the Government in accordance with Clause ?Option to Extend the Term of the Contract? (FAR 52.217-9)(Mar 2000)). This is a Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Quantity contract with the minimum guarantee being the firm fixed price portion. NAICS Code 25611. This requirement is being solicited as 100% set aside for small business in accordance with FAR clause 52.219-6, NOTICE OF TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The related Small Business Size Standard is $12.5 Million. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation?s plans and specifications. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted. The official Plan Holder?s list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective bidders must register as planholders on the Internet EBS Web Site for this project. Each company must indicate it?s name, address, phone number, and E-Mail address; identify whether the firm is a Prime, sub or Supplier, and indicate whether firm is a small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Large Business or if firm is a Woman-Owned Business. Plan Centers are also required to register. See solicitation for proper address for delivery of bids. Bid results may be obtained on the Internet Site 24 hours after bid opening. This is a public bid opening. Bids will be considered from all responsible registered sources.
