Description

Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to upgrade utility conduits at U.S. Coast Guard Group Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. Major items of work include: Provide 2-4 inch PVC SCH. 80 underground (approx. 250 feet) from administration building to ESD building thru existing manholes #1, #3 & #5 as shown on sheet E-01. Provide two wall-mounted stainless steel NEMA 4X enclosures with hinged door as shown on sheet E-01. Provide 2-4 inch PVC SCH. 40 (approx. 40 feet) above suspended ceiling from wall-mounted enclosure at administration building to RSM room. Provide two pull ropes in each empty conduit. Coast Guard personnel will install the cables. At least one access to parking area shall be available, while trenching for conduit between buildings. Period of Performance is estimated to be 60 days after Notice to Proceed. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 235310 (formerly SIC Code 1731). Estimated range of the project is less than $25,000; therefore pursuant to FAR 52.219-20, Notice of Emerging Small Business Set-Aside, offers or quotations under this acquisition are solicited from Emerging Small Business concerns only. A due date for quotes has not yet been established. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings will be available for download exclusively from the Internet in approximately fifteen days by accessing the government-wide Electronic Posting System (EPS) website at http://www.eps.gov. Interested parties should utilize the Register to Receive Notification function in EPS by registering under the solicitation number DTCG83-02-Q-3WF207.
