Description
Sources Sought -- The US Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Office of Work/Life Programs, Office of Workforce Relations (OWLP/OWR), is seeking commercial sources that are capable of providing interactive web-based learning modules on telework; one designed for employees and one designed for managers. We are looking for a product that has already been developed that can be tailored to our purposes. These modules will be used to help break down major barriers to teleworking and provide all Federal employees with useful information on teleworking. The modules must have potential to be customized for use by individual Federal agencies. We would expect the modules to include: (1) a 45 to 60-minute, web-based training program for Federal managers to develop positive attitudes about teleworking, to improve their communication skills, and help them understand and apply "management by results" principles; and (2) a 45 to 60 minute, web-based training program for Federal employees to establish positive attitudes toward teleworking, to develop good time management, task management and communication skills, and to provide tips and resources for successful teleworking. Both modules should include basic information about telework for Federal employees, how to get programs started, and how to track telework utilization. The modules should also include some interactive tools that would help managers and employees establish and maintain a successful telework program. You are asked to provide written information about your firm's ability to supply these modules, including your corporate experience or capabilities for supplying learning tools of this kind, to the address below by March 14, 2002. You are also asked to submit available pricing information, including prices for any optional features or services, and including any applicable trade discount terms. THIS IS AN INFORMATION GATHERING EFFORT ONLY. The Government does not intend to pay for the information we receive from this solicitation. If an open market purchase procurement action is taken, additional notices will be published as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation 5.2. Information responsive to this notice should be addressed to US Office of Personnel Management, Contracting Division, Room 1342, Attention: Mr. Henry Wong, 1900 E Street, NW, Washington, DC 20415. You may also fax information to the attention of the Mr. Wong at (202) 606-1464. E-mail submissions may be addressed to hlwong@opm.gov.
