Description

NA AH-64D Longbow Apache Program is to develop and qualify a retrofit installation of the AN/ARC-220 HF radio system and the KY-100 Communications Security device into the AH-64D Longbow aircraft. The Government intends to award a delivery order to contract DAAH23-98-G-0049 to sole source contractor McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, Mesa, AZ 85215-9797 under the authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. A software data package suitable for competition is not available and no solicitation will be issued. See Note: 22
