Description

The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) and the Los Angeles chapters of Air Force Association (AFA), Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and Southern California Aerospace Professional Representatives (SCAPR) are sponsoring SMC Industry Days - "The New Air Force Acquisition Enterprise: SMC's Support to the Warfighter." This conference will be held March 19-21, 2002 at the Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB), Los Alamitos, California. Air Force and DOD speakers from Washington DC, Colorado Springs, Los Angeles and other Air Force sites will brief space program status and acquisition opportunities. The conference will be held at the SECRET/NOFORN security level. The conference begins with an optional afternoon of golf at the Los Alamitos Navy Golf Course and a welcome reception and early registration at the Long Beach Marriott hotel followed by a day and a half of briefings at the JFTB with dinner on 20 March at the Long Beach Marriott.
