- Synopsis: This sole source solicitation is for a requirements type contract for 2 test sets appl to Night Vision Goggles. There will be a basic year plus 4 one-year options. The BEQ (best estimated quantity) for the basic year will be 400 each test sets (with option BEQs of 75 ea year for the option years 1-3 and BEQ of 130 each of the option 4), applicable to Night Vision Goggles, NSN 6625-01-374-9681CX, P/N ANV 126-001 AND NSN 6625-01-431-8615CX, P/N ANV 20/20. Delivery: 4 MONTHS ARO. This buy will be solicited via email to Hoffman Engineering Corp with the approximate response date of 20 Mar 2002. The request for solicitation should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage code Number, Size of Business pursuant to NAICS 334220, 750 employees. Sole Source to: Hoffman Engineering Corp., Cage Code 06097. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
