Description

NA The Government intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price contract with Cingular Interactive, Raritan Plaza One, Raritan Center, Edison, New Jersey. Cingular Interactive will provide installation of one Ericsson BRU30 base station, appropriate fixed antenn as, cables, connectors, and digital circuit connectivity, to support the use of RIM Blackberry wireless devices that are being used throughout the command at Ft. Eustis. The period of performance will be determined by an installation date. Cingular Inte ractive owns and manages the Mobitex network, and is the only distribution channel in the United States licensed by the FCC and authorized to provision, support, and maintain network enhancement coverage and radio transmissions solutions for the equipment that is currently being used. Statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition: 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1.
