Description
THIS IS A REPEAT OF A SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION #F08651-02-Q-0003 WHICH WAS SYNOPSIZED ON 6 FEBRUARY 2002. THE 6 FEBRUARY SYNOPSIS IS BEING REPEATED HERE BECAUSE THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE, WAS ERRONEOUSLY SYNOPSIZED. THE SOLE PURPOSE FOR REPEATING THIS SYNOPSIS HERE IS TO ENSURE THAT ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ACCURATELY STATED. The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to provide service for maintenance and repair of Oil/Water Separators, Grease Traps and Septic Tanks. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies and materials, to support the above requirement. The government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Contract, to begin 1 May 02, that will consist of the Basic Year with Four (4) One Year Options. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a 100% small business set-aside utilizing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 562998, with a standard of $5 Million which is effective until 22 February 02, after that date the size standard will change to $6 Million. The proposed issue date will be on or about 20 Mar 02. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate personnel. For any other concerns, interested parties may call the ARC Ombudsman, Dr Mario J. Caluda at (850) 882-5558. When requested the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the solicitation will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System at https://www.eps.gov on or about 20 March 02.
