Description
NA The Army Program Executive Office (PEO) for Aviation previously received an unsolicited proposal that offered to establish the capability of an Aviation Logistics Support Facility (LSF). The unsolicited proposal resulted in the execution of an Indefinite D elivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. This contract is a zero dollar contract with supplies and services and supplemental funding added via Task Orders. At this time, interested sources are being sought to determine if there are contractors, other t han the incumbent, who can fulfill future requirements for those that can not be fulfilled by the Aviation Public or Private Sector. The primary focus of this contractual action would be performance of follow-on actions to previous engineering developmenta l efforts that will provide a rapid response for critical system requirements capability, principally in support of legacy and low-density systems which have little, if any, organic or commercial support. Additionally, this capability is intended to maint ain the Government?s ability to accomplish it?s mission with diminished manpower/financial without relinquishing management control of Mission Area programs, capabilities, competencies as well as the continuation/expansion of previously performed developme ntal efforts. The requirement is for a full spectrum of Aviation Mission Area support. At this time, it is anticipated that there will not be a solicitation issued as a result of this inquiry. Place of Performance would be at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. Should a requirement materialize, you will be provided a copy of the solicitation. The point of contact is Ms. Susan Mesa, 309-782-0321, Fax number is 309-782-6877; e-mail: mesas@osc.army.mil
