Description
NA The Florida Army National Guard, FL ARNG, is has a requirement for a contractor to provide temporary lodging and dining facilities at Ft. Stewart, GA for the period of 18 May - 8 Jun 2002. The contractor must provide a tent city sleeping area for approxim ately 3300 soldiers, and an additional 300-500 billets on request. Contractor will provide all tents, cots, and other materials. Each tent will have electrical lighting, 120V electrical outlets, and fire extinguishers to comply with fire codes. Contract or will establish and operate a dining facility to feed 2 meals/day to approximately 400 soldiers for the period 18 May - 8 Jun 2002. This facility will be set up in an existing dining hall on Ft. Stewart. The contractor will also establish a temporary k itchen to prepare 2 meals/day for approximately 4000 soldiers for the period 5 - 8 Jun 2001. For all dining operations the Government will provide raw subsistence to the contractor. Contract personnel will be used for meal preparation, service, and clean -up. The contractor will also be required to set up a temporary dining facility complete with tables, chairs, trash cans, lighting, fire extinguishers and other necessary materials. This facility must be capable of seating 500 soldiers at a time. The di ning facility must be in place for the period 18 May to 8 June 2001. This facility will be used by as a seating and serving area by individual units preparing meals from 18 May to 4 June. It will also be used as the seating/serving area for the 5 - 8 Jun e contractor prepared meals. The Government intends to select a contractor based on Best Value, technical proposal will be slightly more important than price. A site visit will be conducted at 0900 on 19 Feb 2002 at Ft. Stewart, GA, all interested parties should plan to attend. Closing date for this solicictation is 5 March 2002 at 4:00 PM.
