Description

Work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, superintendence, and transportation necessary for the restoration of 1700 foot section of earthfill dike, construction of one reinforced concrete water control structure, and construction of one riprapped spillway including: excavation, dewatering, trenching, concrete and backfill placement, installation of geogrid and riprap, handrails, sluice gate, plastic pipe, miscellaneous metal work, shaping, grading and seeding of embankment, and the placement of gravel as shown on the construction drawings. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 234990, with a Small Business Size Standard of $27.5 Million. The estimated magnitude of construction in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Solicitation packages will be available approximately February 22, 2002, with bid opening occurring on or about March 26, 2002.
