Description
The U.S. Postal Service is requesting information regarding electronic filing (eFiling) document management systems for their national purchasing program. We are seeking information about eFiling systems that are able to collect, process, store, and retrieve all purchasing documents electronically. The documents to be considered for eFiling include standard forms, funding documents, statements of work, solicitations, contracts, modifications and amendments, receiving reports and various other support documents related to the purchasing process. The Postal Service is considering eFiling both existing and/or future documents. Existing contract files are estimated at 10,000 with approximately 25 different types of documents averaging 20 pages per type of document in each contract file. Businesses are asked to submit the following information at a minimum: 1. Business name, address, contact name, phone number/email address 2. Ease of use 3. Installation or software requirements 4. List and description of features 5. Range and description of capabilities 6. Security features 7. Maintenance requirements 8. General pricing structure (license fees, maintenance fees, etc.) in order to determine estimated cost 9. Space/infrastructure requirements 10. Where product/service is currently in operation and description of how it is used with contact name and phone number 11. Commercial literature This is a request for information only and is not a solicitation for bids or proposals. The Postal Service is interested in all possible solutions.
