Description

Single award, one year term contract for the Defense Automated Printing Service, Norfolk, VA for the procurement of the Chips Magazine. The newsletter is issued 4 to 6 times per year, average of 40,000 copies per issue, printing in Four Color Process and up to two PMS color of ink. Average of 44 text pages plus covers with finished size of 216 x 279 mm (8-1/2 x 11?), saddle stitched and trimmed 3 sides. Electronic media will be furnished on Iomega compatible 100 MB zip disk, Macintosh format, the main page lay out is in PageMaker 6.5, with Aldus Freehand 3.11 and Adobe PhotoShop 5.0. The contract requires such operations as offset printing, binding, packing and mail distribution.
