- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station (CSS), Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, Florida has a requirement for 75 to 375 portable shipboard air booster pumps to be used to charge high-pressure air into breathing air systems. This requirement is Full and Open Competition. The booster pump shall be air driven, reciprocating, single stage and double acting so that it compresses air as the drive piston moves in either direction to efficiently utilize drive air. The pump shall be configured for use with an external pilot valve and shall be capable of charging air at 2100 ? 3100 psig to a minimum pressure of 5100 psig. Drive air shall be derived from the high-pressure air inlet to the pump. A base quantity of 75 each and four options of 75 booster pumps each shall be priced. Delivery of the first set of booster pumps will be 100 days after the contract award date. Delivery for eac h option of gauge sets shall be within 100 days of formal notification to exercise the option. FOB Destination delivery will be to the Coastal Systems Station, 6703 W. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32407-7001. A technical proposal is required. Requests for the solicitation shall be referred to Hinesmf@ncsc.navy.mil. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Solicitation will be available for download on or about 15 Feb 02. Solicitations and any Amendments may be downloaded from http://www.ncsc.navy.mil/Contracts/ZTables/syntable.htm. No Solicitations or Amendments will be mailed to offerors. Therefore, it's incumbent upon the potential offeror to be cognitive of the CSS Internet for all release s. However, potential offerors will be notified by email when the solicitation has been released to the COASTSYSTA Internet. NAICS: 421830; size standard is 100 employees.
