Description
STATEMENT OF WORK FOR LEASE OF DIESEL GENERATORS 1. Two 600 kW (continuous) package unit diesel generators, 480 volt, three phase (floating neutral), 60 Hz generators in a 20 foot ISO sound attenuated container with fuel capacity sufficient for 15 hours (minimum) operation at full load. Power Quality shall comply with MIL STD 1399, Type I. Upon a sudden load or spike demand the generator set must be capable of supplying an output of 160% of rated output for a duration of three seconds and return to a steady state condition as operating at or below rated output within ten seconds. Provide three 20 foot LSTSGU/A-400 installed (to the supply bus) cables. Plugs shall be provided and installed on the load side of the cables by others. The package unit shall include a fire suppression system that can be actuated from outside of the container, alarm system including diagnostics and audible alarm, fuel tank, and generator controls. 2. Quotes shall identify a firm fixed price for 8000 hours of use of either generator for the full performance period. 3. Period of Performance will be between 15FEB02 and 01NOV02. Diesel Generator Package units are to arrive at CHEATEM ANNEX (CAX), Williamsburg VA on 15FEB02 and will be removed from the same location on 01NOV02. 4. Bid shall include 3 days of technical support for training and overseeing hook-ups. Hook-up work will be done by others. Bids shall include 2 travel days to support this effort. 5. To be considered for award, Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr2000.com) and not be on the Debarred and Suspended List. 6. To respond to this posting, fax your proposal/quote along with a copy of the Statement of Work with a notation that your proposal/quote is in accordance with the Statement of Work to Yvette Williams at 757-417-4606, phone 757-417-4714. No proposal/quote will be accepted after 2:00pm on February 1, 2002.
