- U.S. Government Wants to Lease Space in Dallas, TX 1TX0327 Due to an expiring lease, General Services Administration (GSA) is interested in leasing approximately 18,000 usable square feet of fully serviced office and related space for the Department of Justice in Dallas, Texas, for a 10-year term with termination rights after the end of the first 60 months. If economically advantageous, the government will consider alternative space. The cost of moving, alterations and relocation of telecommunications will be considered in any decision to relocate. All services, supplies and utilities will be provided as part of the rental consideration. The space must conform to GSA requirements for fire and life safety and handicap accessibility. No asbestos containing fireproofing or insulation materials, whether friable or non-friable, will be permitted. All buildings are subject to asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB?s) inspection and testing procedures. Space must be available for occupancy no later than July 1, 2002. The space is preferred within the Dallas Central Business District. EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: 1. Building name and address 2. Owner, Property Manager or Owner?s Representative name, address and phone number 3. Total contiguous usable square feet available 4. Current rental rate This is an inquiry for available space only, not an invitation to bid.
