Description

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a Bell and Gossett Vacuum Condensate Pump Series VCD, Model 100VCD with: 2 air/2 water pumps, 4 inch inlet, 2 inch discharge, 60 GPM pump rating, 20 PSIG discharge pressure from 5.5 HG VAC or 25 PSI from vented receiver seal ratings -20/250 F. This is a SOLE-MAKE MODEL REQUIREMENT. It is the intent of the Government to award this procurement on a sole source basis under authority of 41 U.S.C.253(c) (1) with McNevin Company of Aurora, Co. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (NTE $100,00). This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned. Information submitted in response to this notice will be used solely to determine whether or not use of competitive procedures to fulfill this requirement would be in the Government's best interest and must address qualifications pertinent to this requirement. These are the complete specifications and NO RFQ is available. Tecnical questions shall be addressed to Bill Brandt of NIST at (303) 497-3191. This notice shall expire February 8, 2002.
