- Description
- Furnish all plans, designs, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a rotating drum type fish screen barrier and appurtenances using a design-build approach. Work shall include pre-design data collection, such as site surveying, and measurement of water surface elevations and velocities. Design work shall include analysis of possible alternative barrier locations, analysis of probable downstream impacts to water surface elevations and water diversion structures, evaluation of screen barrier configuration, and design of diversion and dewatering facilities for construction purposes. Construction of the fish barrier shall be within Blaine Spring Creek, at a point downstream from the last effluent discharge point from the Ennis National Fish Hatchery in Ennis, Montana. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is open to large and small businesses, and the purchase order will be issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 234910, Water, Sewer, and Pipeline Construction. The evaluation factors include past performance and price, with past performance being more important than price. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 4, 2002. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be on or about March 5, 2002.
