Description
NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitatio n #DAHA23-02-T-0029 in its entirety may be viewed at: www.uspfo-mo.org. Quotations are being requested. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are current through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-02. This is being solicited as 100% Small Business Set Aside under SIC Code 8742. The service consists of an Instructor certified to perform on-site training on the 16 Draeger Airboss PS100 Breathing Device. There will be a maximum of eight individuals to be trained, and three days should be sufficient time for training. Unit location is Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Upon completion of the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) training on above equipment, it is required that individuals are SCBA Level II certified. They will be capable of maintaining the 16 Draeger Airboss PS100 Draeger Breathing Apparatus Equipment. Timeframe for training is February 2002. The Instructor will be paid a fee for instructions plus expenses incurred while at the training site. Said expenses would not ex ceed amount authorized in the Joint Travel Regulations II(JTR) for the Federal Government. All individuals who complete the training course shall receive a certification certificate. The Government will evaluate quotations and award a contract. However, Government reserves the right to conduct discussions, if determined by the Contracting Officer is necessary. If discussions are deemed necessary due to quotation weakness, deficiency or other issues, they will be addressed before award. Discussions will be conducted either orally or in writing with only offerors who are determined to be in the competitive range. The offerors will be given an opportunity to correct deficiencies and resubmit their offer. The Government will select the most technically ac ceptable, low cost offer. All offerors shall submit the following information: (1) Technical quotation addressing the ability to provide this service; (2) Cost quotation which gives a breakdown in cost. That is, cost for performing the service, material s and/or books, travel expenses; (3) past performance information. Submit a minimum of three references of past experience in this capacity. References will include what service was provided with a point of contact and telephone number. Include a comple ted copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item. FAR Clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders. DFARS 252.225-7001 and 252.225-7036 apply to this acquisition.
