- Synopsis: This is a follow-on, non-competitive acquisition to Lockheed Martin Corp., Information Systems, Orlando FL 32805 (CAGE: 16331) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is for sustaining engineering services, travel, per diem and data in support of the LANTIRN System Program. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 05 Feb 2002 with an approximate response date of 01 Mar 2002. Request for solicitation will be available for viewing or downloading from this web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Request additional solicitation information from Deana B. The Government does not have the data rights, or manufacturing knowledge to permit acquisition from other sources. If your concerns are not satisfied by the Contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
