Description
Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools and equipment required to perform grounds maintenance for the Springfield National Cemetery located at 1702 East Seminole Street, Springfield, Missouri 65804 covering the period beginning March 1, 2002 for one year (base period), with four (4) 1-year options. Lawn Management duties include: interments; headstone maintenance-clean headstones, set initial and replacement headstones, and raise/align headstones; lawn maintenance-fertilize, overseed, dethatch, aerate, lime, crabgrass preventer, weed control, mowing, trimming, edging, leaf, twig and tree limb collection and removal; refill sunken graves, plant material maintenance, pruning, and Memorial Day placement of flags. Pre-proposal conference scheduled for February 15, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. at the Springfield National Cemetery. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561730 and a size standard of $5 million is applicable to this acquisition. This procurement is being conducted under the Subpart 13.5 test program where simplified acquisition procedures apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer. Electronic solicitations may be obtained at no cost from the following URL: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/. The solicitation will be made available on or about January 23, 2002. Offerors will need to click on the RFQ 564-4-02 solicitation in order to download the solicitation documents. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Requests for hard copies of the solicitation must be in writing to Contracting Officer. No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard Copy solicitations will be issued on or about 1-23-02. The due date for this solicitation is February 25, 2002 by 1:00 p.m. central time.
