Description

This is a sources sought for the following: 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet switch, full duplex Minimum of 24 Ethernet loaded ports, front-panel connectors Data load port compliant with ARINC 615A 6U Eurocard form factor compliant with Compact PCI Core Specification, PICMG 2.0 R3.0 Conduction cooled Eurocard compliant with VITA 30.1 Full power available within 1 second following a power interrupt greater than 100 milliseconds Software compliant with RTCA/DO-178B, Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification Real-time deterministic services-no collision management required compliant with ARINC 664, part 5, Profiled Aircraft Data Networks Operating temperature range of -40degC and +71degC in accordance with MIL-STD-810F Weight will not exceed 2.0 pounds Layer 2 switch Switching shall be compliant with ARINC 664, Aircraft Data Networks, Part 5 Backplane interface compliant with the Compact PCI Packet Switching Backplane specification compliant with PICMG 2.16 R1.0 Power dissipation no greater than 25 watts during peak operation Mean-time between failure with a minimum of at least 100,000 hours.
