- Description
- Contractor shall completely prepare site and furnish all labor, tools, material and equipment necessary to perform all work to Install Smoke Detectors and Fire Alarm Panel(s) at Building 104 at VA Medical Center, Bath, New York in accordance with contract specifications and Drawing No. VAMC-514-1638. Work includes, but is not limited to, Demolition and replacement of the existing fire alarm system equipment, devices, wiring, etc., with new including all necessary cutting, patching and painting. Provision of temporary devices and their associated wiring, during the demolition and replacement phases of the work. Electrical system tie-in to the existing facility security loop and facility fire command center. All general, HVAC and electrical construction work associated with the demolition, and replacement of the existing equipment, devices, wiring, etc., and as required for the provision of new equipment, devices, wiring, etc. All required system programming for annunciation purposes, both locally at the building and remotely, at the facility fire command center. The estimated cost range is $100,000 to $250,000. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program this procurement is unrestricted. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Number 235310 with a size standard of $11.5 Million applies to this procurement. The solicitation must be downloaded from the website listed in this announcement. The VA will not provide hard copies. The solicitation will be ready for download free of charge on/about January 28, 2002.
