Description

UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LAND FOR OFFICE SPACE The U.S. Government is performing a market analysis to identify potential land sites of approximately 3-6 acres to construct 112,700 rentable square feet of office space with building setbacks of 100 feet for the Federal Bureau of Investigations within the following delineated boundaries: First Consideration: Northern Boundary: Tyler Street Southern Boundary: Whiting Street Eastern Boundary: Morgan Street Western Boundary: Tampa Street Second Consideration: Northern Boundary: Spruce Street/Boy Scout Boulevard Southern Boundary: John F. Kennedy Boulevard Eastern Boundary: MacDill Avenue Western Boundary: Tampa Bay Offerors of the sites must be willing to grant a no cost, assignable option to the Government for purchase by the successful developer at the time the lease construction project is awarded. The sales price of the selected site should be at or below the market rate as supported by an independent appraisal. Sites which may be donated to the Federal Government are solicited as well as those for sale. Lease award is estimated to be January 2003 with an occupancy date September 2004. If you have a site that meets or exceeds the above requirements contact this office by January 18, 2002. Proposals submitted by the agents must be accompanied by documentary evidence of the agent?s authority to make such offers. The sales price of the selected site should be at or below the market rate as supported by an independent appraisal. Sites which may be donated to the Federal Government are solicited as well as those for sale. Lease award is estimated to be September 2002 with an occupancy date of February 2005. This project is subject to congressional approval. If you have a site that meets or exceeds the above requirements contact this office by June 15, 2001.
