Description

THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541710. The small business standard is: average annual receipts for the past three years may not exceed $9,000,000. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, seeks a contractor to determine the molecular targets for regulators of sodium excretion by the kidneys for an experimental protocol to establish surgical procedures to carry out unilateral renal denervation in rats and to complete a series of animal experiments with rats after unilateral denervation. Specific tasks and a complete description of the contract requirements are discussed in detail in the Statement of Work (SOW). The solicitation document will be released on or about January 18, 2002, with a due date of January 28, 2002. The planned contract award date is February 1, 2002.
