Description

NA This is the fourth synopsis for OMB Circular A-76 Commercial Activities Study of the Directorate of Public Works Support Services for Forts Richardson and Wainwright, Alaska. The intent of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective m ethod of providing support services in the management and operation of the Directorate of Public works for the referenced locations. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The study will determine whether these services be perfo rmed under a contract with commercial sources or through the federal work force. A Government proposal to provide theses services will be developed and a contact may or may not result. The applicable NAICS code is 56121 with a small business size standard of $20 million. An initial draft solicitation and performance work statement have been posted to the USARAK webpage and can be downloaded at http://www.usarak.army.mil/doc by clicking on current solicitations. Industry comments are encouraged and are re quested by 4:30 p.m. local time on Jan 31, 2002. A final solicitation is expected to be issued on/about 15 Feb 2002. No paper copies of the draft solicitation will be issued.
