- Description
- The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to extend month-to-month on a sole source basis contract DCA200-96-D-0056 for up to 12 months. The contract is with IDB Mobile Communications, 6903 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817. This contract is for International Maritime Satellite (INMARSAT) service that provides M terminals with IDB STU III, terminals with dual STU III and terminals without STU III. All services are provided on a global basis 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, ship-to-ship, ship-to-shor. Month-to-month extension will allow time for a small business set-aside contract to be awarded. The competitive reaward of this month-to-month contract is RFP DCA200-01-R-5029 titled "INMARSAT Airtime, Terminals and Equipment Repair" closed 12/21/01. The RFP can be seen on the World Wide Web at http://www.ditco.disa.mil under "Contracting Opportunities" and "Other Telecommunication and Computer Technology " of the DITCO Homepage. All responsible offerors responding to this notice will be considered in accordance with Note 22.
