- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Non-Secure Juvenile Facility services for male and female juvenile offenders in the Central and Southeastern South Dakota.. Location of the facility shall be within the boundaries of the following counties in South Dakota: Aurora, Bon Homme, Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Clay, Douglas, Gregory, Hughes, Lyman, Stanley, and Yankton. Services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. Those parties interested in providing these services are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons? Statement of Work entitled, ?Contract Non-Secure Juvenile Facility?, dated September 2000. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 80% male and 20% female. The estimated number of inmate days are 7,300 for the two-year base period and 3,650 for each of the three one-year option periods. The estimated RFP issue date is February 8, 2002 and the estimated closing date is April 9, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
