- NAICS 235110. Size Standard $11.5 Million. This procurement is being mad under the HUBZone Empowerment Contracting Program as part of the Small Business Reauthorization Act of 1997, and is therefore set-aside for certified HUBZone contractors per SBA approval and GSAM 519.1305. Solicitation will be issued o/a 1/18/2002. Bid Opening Date will be o/a 2/15/2002. Summary of Work: Replacement of boilers and associated heating water pumps, heating water piping specialties/appurtenances; revisions to heating water mechanical room piping and piping insulation; abatement of asbestos containing thermal insulation; revisions to combustion air controls; addition of pre-heat coils to air handlers, AHU-1,2; replacement of air handler roll filter assemblies with angled filter assemblies; chemical water treatment; test and balance, minor controls work, electrical motor control and power in support of mechanical work. Price range is from $250,000 - $500,000. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOps.gov only and drawings will be mailed under separate cover.
