Description
DTCG87-02-R-643031 JOB ORDER CONTRACT IN SUPPORT OF U.S. COAST GUARD INTEGRATED SUPPORT COMMAND, KETCHIKAN, ALASKA AREA AND U. S. COAST GUARD AIR STATION, SITKA, ALASKA AREA. Multidisciplinary, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction Work consisting of contract task orders ranging from $2,000 to $250,000. Each contract will not exceed a cumulative (inclusive of option year, if exercised) of $1 Million. The Government anticipates awarding, on an area basis up to two Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contracts with one option year. Actual work requirements will be fulfilled through the award of task orders subsequently identified. Project will involve providing for all labor, material, supplies, transportation, supervision, minor design corrections, detailed scope of work development, and all other necessary items for complete and usable projects, performing all work in complete compliance with all plans, drawings, and specifications issued. Common trades which may be needed include, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, laborers, power equipment operators, cement workers, asbestos removers, painters, trades identified in the Davis Bacon Wage Determination and other trades common to the construction industry. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program, public law 100-656, as implemented by the OFPP Policy Directive and Test Plan dated 8/31/89. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23499 and the applicable size standard is $27.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be January 22, 2002) from the Government-wide Electronic Posting System website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on that website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time proposals are due. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's) The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.00 with interest at the prime rate.
