- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Loretto), located in Loretto, Pennsylvania, requires Sewage Sludge Disposal services. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement. The estimated quantity for each twelve (12) month period of the contract is approximately 35-50 dumpster pickups. The services will be performed inside the secure perimeter of the institution. The Contractor will not be responsible for direct inmate management. The performance period will be the base year and four option years. This is open to all business types eligible to receive award, not restricted to small businesses. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after January 8, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site.
