Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation may be viewed at http://www.uspfo-mo.org. The solic itation number is DAHA23-02-T-0023. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are current through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01. This request is being solicited on an unrestricted basis under SIC code 7699. (Note: If contract is issued under another Government contract, clauses and provisions contained in Government contract will take precedence.) Contract performance is thirty days from date of contract award. Statement of Work follows: Tear down and quote for four each po wer turbine modules from Apache Model #AH-64, Series A, Helicopter Engine T-700. Serial Numbers of the modules are GEL-004931, GEL-004872, GEL-803115, and GEL-004780. The contractor is required to pick up modules at Houston AASF, Building 1183, Ellington Field, Houston, Texas, and return to the same location. Contractor will be responsible for supplying shipping containers for transport of the modules to and from contractor?s facility. Contractor is to completely disassemble, clean, and evaluate for cos t to repair each module listed above. If module(s) are not repaired, the Contractor shall reassemble the modules and return to AASF, Houston, Texas. Time allocated for the tear down, evaluation, and quotation for repair is 30 days from date of contract a ward. Work shall be performed in accordance with DMWR 55-2840-248-2. No repair shall be performed on modules until Agency has been notified of cost, and Contractor has been given a ?Notice to Proceed?. Agency reserves the right to exercise option to rep air modules in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8. Proposal for repair of each module is to be provided in the following format: Labor hours X labor rate (prevailing wage rates are applicable) for a total cost for labor, itemized list of repair parts wi th cost for each part for a total cost for parts. (Note: The Agency reserves the right to provide any required parts.) Total cost for repair of each module shall be provided for a firm-fixed price. Submitted repair proposals shall include a technical s tatement of discovery and work to be performed. Past performance proposal shall include three references of similar work to include description of work, point(s) of contact, and telephone numbers. Only Contractors who are a ?FAA Turbine Repair Facility? will be considered. Include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions applies to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commerc ial Items applies to this acquisition, FAR 52.222-21, DFARS 252.225-7007, FAR 52.222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36,FAR 52.222-37, FAR 52.222-41, FAR 52.222-42, and FAR 52.232-34.
