Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, has a requirement for logistic engineering, tracking and certification support, training, configuration, identification and status accounting; logistic technical documentation support; configuration audits; configuration management and integrated logistic planning, Depot facility maintenance support, kit material procurement inventory control and status, development, scheduling, spare and repair parts provisioning, and Advanced Interactive Media Technology Center (AIMTC) software and administrative support services. The Government anticipates awarding a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract with Cost Plus Award Fee provisions. This procurement is set-aside for 8(a) firms. Applicable NAICS Code is 541330, $20M. Contract performance period shall be sixty (60) months from contract award. Primary place of performance is Newport, RI. The estimated level of effort is 470,000 manhours. Minimum number of "Key Personnel required: Computer Programmer III - 1 ea., Logistician III - 1 ea., Program Manager II - 1 ea., Configuration Management Specialist III - 1 ea., Training Specialist III - 1 ea., Technical Writer, Supervisory - 1 ea., - Computer Programmer III, Electrical/Electronics Technician V - 1 ea., and Systems Engineer III - 1 ea. Award will be based on based value. Evaluation factors will be: Technical Capability and Cost. Technical capability sub-factors will be Personnel and Past Performance. This procurement is a follow-on to competitive contract N66604-97-D-4882 with Advanced Solutions for Tomorrow (ASFT) of Roswell, GA. Estimated RFP release date: 2002 JAN 10.
