Description: THIS IS AN ELECTRONIC SOLICITATION. WEBB ADDRESS: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. The contractor shall provide all labor, management, transportation, equipment, tools, instruments, materials, supplies, incidentals and supervision required to perform inspection, full preventative maintenance, filter replacements, minor alterations, repair and component replacement required to maintain heating, ventilating, air conditioning, cooling towers, air compressors and related equipment. Unscheduled work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity Work, which will be ordered on an as needed basis. The contractor shall provide preventive maintenance, repair and services at the Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach by means of a combination firm fixed-price/indefinite-quantity contract. The performance time will be for twelve months from the contract start date. The duration of this contract including the exercise of any options shall not exceed five years. Bids will be considered from all responsible sources. Sealed bids and acknowledgement of amendments should be mailed to The Officer in Charge of Construction, South West Division Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Naval Weapons Station, ROICC Los Angeles Area, Building 230, West Wing, 800 Seal Beach Blvd., Seal Beach, CA 90740-5000. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7623. The related small business size standard is $3.5 million and the related NAICS Code is 562991. Specifications will be available on 28 January 2002 by INTERNET access at the above WEB address. No deposit required. Prospective bidders are advised that there will be tours of the job site on 6 and 13 February 2002.
