Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure seventeen (17) each Ingersoll-Rand Reciprocating Pumps, NSN 4320-01-428-8809, Part Number 666151-244-C. Pump characteristics are: reciprocating air pump, 1? inch NPT, aluminum center body, stainless steel caps and manifold, stainless steel seat material, T.F.E. teflon ball and diaphragms. Pumps are used for various applications onboard the 420? Coast Guard vessels. ONLY THE PART NUMBER REFERENCED IN THIS NOTICE SHALL BE ACCEPTED. ALTERNATE PART NUMBERS SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The Government does not possess the necessary technical and engineering drawings or specifications to provide with the solicitation or to facilitate evaluation of alternate items. This information is proprietary to Ingersoll-Rand. The Government intends to solicit, and accept quotations, from only Ingersoll-Rand, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and/or their authorized distributors. Interested sources, that can supply the Ingersoll-Rand part number requested in this notice and the RFQ, can submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. The Request For Quotation (RFQ), Number DTCG40-02-Q-50027, shall be available for download from FedBizOpps, located at www.eps.gov, on or about 17 December 2001. Delivery of the Pumps shall be F.O.B. Destination, and shall be required no later than 60 calendar days after date of award. The deadline for receipt of quotations shall be 2 January 2001. Electronic submission of quotations via Email is NOT acceptable. This requirement is NOT set aside for small business. See Numbered Note 22. The following statement is for informational purposes only: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE?s)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
