Description
1 ORDER FOR 1 GALLON MUST BE HYLOMAR UNIVERSAL BLUE-25 PART NUMBER 8030-01-325-7551 UI: GL SEALING COMPOUND: DESCRIPTION A polyurethane/polyester-based sealing compound for use as a gasket maker, gasket dressing, or threaded fastener sealant. Size: The product shall be furnished in 1 gallon quantities packaged in the manufacturer's original containers and in accordance with normal commercial practice. There shall be no interaction chemically or physically with the contents so as to damage the containers or alter the strength, quality, or purity of the contents. The filled cans shall be closed in a manner that will insure that the contents will not spill or leak from the containers during shipment, handling, storage, and redistribution. Shelf life code: 6 (2 years) Maximum age on delivery: 4 months Hylomar Ltd. p/n Universal Blue L-25. ITEM MARKING Each item shall be marked with the following: (1) lot or batch number (2) dates of manufacture and reinspection (3) manufacturer's name and part number (4) instructions for use on unit containers only (5) instructions for storage, i.e. do not freeze, refrigeration required, etc. (6) maximum volatile organic content (VOC) less water and exempt solvents in grams per liter or pounds per gallon on quart sizes and larger. PACKAGING PACKAGING: Material packaged as specified above shall be packed in a close-fitting, corrugated, fiberboard box conforming to Section 6(a), Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification and Item 222 of the National Motor Freight Classification (200 minimum burst). Closure of the boxes shall be in accordance with Section 7 of Rule 41 of the Uniform Freight Classification. Gross weight of the box and contents shall not exceed 65 pounds. MARKING All unit, intermediate, transport packages and unit loads shall be marked for delivery to civilian activities in accordance with the FED-STD-123G, dated June 6, 1997, or marked for delivery to military activities in accordance with MIL-STD-129N, dated 15, May, 1997, as applicable. MSDS MUST BE INCLUDED WITH YOUR QUOTE
