- Description
- This is a request for vendors interested in supporting the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) aboard Navy Ships. The ATMs-at-Sea system is a self-contained automated pay delivery system on board Navy ships that furnishes Sailors and Marines in deployed units, secure storage of their personal funds and ensures them ready access to these funds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. About 150 Navy ships have ATM-at-Sea systems installed. The Government's intention is to contract for software and hardware maintenance and training for these government-owned ATMs systems. Hardware and software support will be required on site in selected ports in the United States and in selected overseas ports worldwide. If your firm is interested is this support, please contact one of the officials cited above on or before 7 January 2002 for additional information. It is anticipated that award will be made in the third or early fourth quarter of Government Fiscal Year (GFY) 2002. A pre-solicitation conference is scheduled for 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, January 9, 2002 at the Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg. Those vendors interested in attending are required to contact one of the officials identified above. An electronic copy of the Statement of Work is available upon request
